The acid hound is a heavy-type weapon in Raze 2. This gun has no special abilities, but has a great fire rate and deals a moderate amount of damage. You receive the Acid Hound as a special in the Alien campaign level, "A Strong Defense", as it replaces your Starter weapon. The level story warns you to "Watch where you fire" and for good reason. It is fairly easy to damage yourself with the Acid Hound, even easier than many of the longer range explosives.
